Welcome to the Intensive Longitudinal Methods Lab at UC Davis!

Daily diary data of pain and stress from one person over 90 days
Our lab is dedicated to advancing research on human development by developing and evaluating innovative quantitative methods to analyze intensive longitudinal data, with the aim to better represent dynamic processes at both the individual and population levels. Specifically, we focus on optimizing statistical tools for use with intensive longitudinal data (e.g., daily diary data, ecological momentary assessments) to capture meaningful intraindividual variability in people's physiological, psychological, and behavioral processes, and to better understand how these dynamics affect health and well-being.
